Experiments with HDR


I’ve tried doing High Dynamic Range photography years ago, putting them together in PhotoShop – but it was tedious and frustrating. Today I tried Photomatix, which makes life easier. P Pretty happy with my first experiment.

Jetty sunset…


I love the saturated colours and converging parallels in this image. Darkening in post has helped accentuate the colours, while cropping has improved the composition. Tripod, Canon 5DMk2, 24mm f/3.5 TS-E, 1/40th @ f/20 (underexposed two stops).
