Shifted dots…



Using the tilt feature on a Canon 24mm TS lens changes the plane of focus, so instead of everything at a particular distance from the camera being in focus, the sharp dots run diagonally. This draws the eye across the frame in an unusual way, giving the image it’s point of difference.

Hardware: Canon 5D MkII, EF 24mm f/3.5 TS
Exposure: ISO 400, 1/800s @ f/3.5, -1.33EV
Post: Corrected white balance, cropped, incrased exposure and contrast.
